The Center for Contemporary Arts in Santa Fe has announced its immediate shutdown, which came as a shock. This is a tragic event for the Santa Fe community. In my previous newsletters, I announced that I was working closely with them to launch an exhibition titled "Queer Magic: Practices in Power and Transformation" with the help of the amazing curator, Kiersten Fellrath, and the incredible staff at CCA SF. Unfortunately, this exhibition will no longer happen. However, I remain hopeful that this powerful vision we were creating with other artists and community members will find another venue or other ways to be manifested.
